DEDICATION . . .
A Clark County Deputy District Attorney, husband and father of two children, Bernie Zadrowski is dedicated to his family and to the principles of justice that rule our courts.
After working a full-time day job and attending law school at night, Bernie graduated from the University of Denver College of Law in the top 11 percent of his class.
Immediately upon graduating from law school, Bernie moved to Las Vegas and began working for the Clark County District Attorney's Office. Here he has zealously strived
to uphold the prosecutor's ethical obligation to see that justice is served.
EXPERIENCE . . .
As a Clark County Deputy District Attorney for the last thirteen years, and now Chief Deputy supervising the Bad Check Unit, Bernie Zadrowski has prosecuted criminals in every court in Clark County. From Mesquite to Laughlin and all courts
in between, Bernie has represented the people of the State of Nevada in every type of criminal case. Prosecuting every type of criminal from simple disorderly
conduct cases to violent murder cases, Bernie has earnestly fought for the rights of victims, their families, and the citizens of Clark County. In January, 2005, Bernie took over the supervision of the Bad Check Unit, where he supervises
the prosecution of bad check and fraud related cases. Bernie is proud to report that under his supervision this unit has returned an average of 2.5 million dollars
in restitution, PER MONTH, to the victims of bad-check writers in our community.(see "Bernie in the News" for more details.) For the last twelve years, Bernie
has educated students in the intricacies of the law, serving as an adjunct professor of criminal law at The College of Southern Nevada.

Committed to the people of Southern Nevada and the principles of her courts, Bernie Zadrowski has provided years of authoritative public service and committment
to the people and institutions he serves. Bernie has exemplified the highest standards of integrity in government. Serving not only as a prosecutor and professor,
Bernie has also been selected from his peers to serve on the state's Judicial Selection Commission (the committee that selects judges in the event of a vacancy).
Additionally, the State Bar Board of Governors appointed Bernie to help lead the prestigious Southern Nevada Disciplinary Board as Vice Chairman. This is the body which functions to maintain the highest levels of integrity among its practicing lawyers.
In 2007 Bernie was appointed to the Judicial Ethics Commission, where he has served the profession hearing cases regarding judicial ethics and campaign practices.
