Family

Then . . .

Bernard Brownislaw Zadrowski (You know him as Bernie) was born in 1966, the middle child of three born to Bernard Zadrowski and Phyllis Ann Garcia. In 1984, Bernie graduated from Saint Mary's High School in Colorado Springs, CO. He briefly attended the United States Air Force Academy in 1984 and 1985. He then enrolled at the University of Colorado, where he graduated in 1988.

Upon receiving his undergraduate degree, Bernie moved to New York City where he lived (and played) until 1992. He began law school at the University of Denver in 1994, where he attended school at night. In order to afford law school, Bernie worked a full-time job during the day at Shepard's Citation Service, a place where his mother had been employed 30 years before him. He then graduated from the University of Denver in 1997, finishing in the top 11% of his class.

. . . And Now

The day after graduating from law school, Bernie packed up his pickup truck and horse trailer and headed to Las Vegas. Upon arriving in the desert, he started work at the Clark County District Attorney's Office. Here he continues to work, prosecuting cases in the criminal division.

On April 18, 1998 he met Shannan Shaw, who agreed to date him even though he made a fool of himself at the wedding where they met. A year later, they were married -- first at the Wee Kirk of the Heather 24-hour Chapel, then later formally at Saint Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church. On June 4, 2001, Lillie Madison Zadrowski arrived. On June 26, 2003, her little brother William "W.W." Zadrowski showed up. Bernie and his family happily reside on the far-west side of the Valley.
